I had to look up deep fried butter. Some things are best left alone.
Deep fried Mars bars exist and are apparently decent. Do with that what you will
Scotland really enjoys deep frying literally everything, I’ve seen a deep fried pie once.
Deep fried pizza too, I’ve heard the cheaper the pizza the better it is when deepfried
Scots like to taunt Italians at football matches with that: “We’re gonna deeep fryyy your PIZZAS!!”
I tried that before in New Zealand, along with deep fried ice cream (Dunedin is a town with a lot of Scottish heritage, so they brought over their greatest cultural achievements). Uhhh, I’ll be polite and say the one bar was good enough to satisfy me for life.

Deep fried pecan pie. On a stick.

It’s not even that hard to do at home. Go buy a frozen pie. Cut it into slices (let it thaw as little bit first if necessary, then re-freeze it). Batter the slices, jam some popsicle sticks in the ends, and deep fry them; deep frying can be a little intimidating at first, but it’s easier (IMHO) than making peanut brittle. Dust with powdered sugar. Serve while still warm.

Fucking incredible. Probably take a few weeks off your lifespan, but worth it.

I tried deep fried Oreos once. Not a fan, too soggy.

Fried dough or French toast sticks with real maple syrup are the peak fried desert.
