Scott2 isn’t spamming bud. What someone else was doing the other day posting the same shit 20 times is spamming.
I saw at least three in different communities on my frontpage. Didn’t even care to look at his profile to see how many he’s spammed because I don’t give attention to pathetic spammers like that, I instantly block them.
Well yeah… you blocked me so you won’t see this message, so I’ll guess I’ll answer it for other people instead? That’s how the fediverse works. It’s comprised of different communities. It’s not like I post things all over the place for no reason.
Everything I draw, I share on [email protected] (in english) and [email protected] (in french). They’re my “home” communities. I wouldn’t say it’s the same content posted twice, since it’s in two different languages, but you do you.

I posted it to 3 appropriate communities in english (my home community, comics, and smuggies), and to 1 appropriate community in french (my home community). To consider this spam, you have to fundamentally misunderstand how lemmy works. If it makes you unhappy, just block me once again idk what to tell you, you are literally the first person to complain to me about this.

It's pretty normal, and it's not spammy IMHO: rather, it allows for different parts of Lemmy to better engage in parallel exchanges about the subject in question.

In fact, and it's quite a meta-moment, I myself don't fully agree with BadJlai when it comes to certain takes of theirs, particularly their straw-man on political nuance ("greenists-orangists" cartoon), but I myself like their comics and I proceed to appreciate it whenever they post a new comics, even the "greenish-orangists" cartoon I silently disagreed with, because I find their comics cleverly and nicely made, despite of any potential disagreements; this, unironically, is the very thing they seemingly mocked (and the very thing you're subtly criticizing on your peer, too), the ability to agreeing and disagreeing and holding seemingly-dissonant views on things.
Cross-posting and making seventeen posts is quite different.

Slight correction: crossposting twice to relevant forums isn’t spam regardless of the overlap in readership, because they are two different forums. It would be spam if they posted it multiple times to the same community on the same instance. Just like you know what species means and what subspecies mean and that using them doesn’t mean we’re discussing the species problem.
We know that a subspecies and species are two different things and a species is every different from a completely different species than a subspecies, which is not too different from it’s subspecies.
