Numbers don't lie
Well yeah… you blocked me so you won’t see this message, so I’ll guess I’ll answer it for other people instead? That’s how the fediverse works. It’s comprised of different communities. It’s not like I post things all over the place for no reason.
Everything I draw, I share on [email protected] (in english) and [email protected] (in french). They’re my “home” communities. I wouldn’t say it’s the same content posted twice, since it’s in two different languages, but you do you.
This one was a comic too, so I posted it on [email protected]
This one is a smuggie too, so I posted it on [email protected]
That’s it, I posted the english version of this comic in three different communities, two of which are tiny niche communities that you shouldn’t care about. Way to make a mountain out of a molehill.
I also unblocked you because the Fediverse is filled with twats who don’t believe their eyes.
So you’re saying you did not make four different posts with that comic to four different communities? That you simply made one post and that it shows up on your profile as four different posts, just like it shows up on mine?
Perhaps if you want to spam-share your comics (which is fine, artists need exposure), do it on a couple of platforms. Or at least wait a few hours before sharing it four times on the same platform.
I don’t care about your intent. I could have cared about your art, but since you spammed, I didn’t even give it a critical look, just like I don’t read my junk e-mail.
So you’re saying you did not make four different posts with that comic to four different communities?
Do you have the ability to read the comments you are replying to?
I wrote that I did share it to four different communities.
Let me redo it from the top: On lemmy, there are communities. You share your content on the appropriate communities. I posted it to 3 appropriate communities in english (my home community, comics, and smuggies), and to 1 appropriate community in french (my home community). To consider this spam, you have to fundamentally misunderstand how lemmy works. If it makes you unhappy, just block me once again idk what to tell you, you are literally the first person to complain to me about this.
I find it so hilarious when people who don’t read my comments try the “oh you didn’t read my reply” shit.
Ofc I did.
That’s why I said
I don’t care about your intent.
You’ll find that in my unedited comment.
Let me redo this from the top; your intent does not matter. When you post 4 posts in a row to Lemmy, they’re going to be four posts in a row on Lemmy. On Reddit, you can share to a dozen communities without it being spam. On Lemmy you can’t.
Is this hard to understand?
“You’re the first person to”
So the fuck what? I don’t care about your intent. I don’t care about your opinions or experiences. You spammed.
If you actually took into account where you are, or what I said, you could’ve done the same without provoking this reaction. And I don’t really care if you care about it.
You had three posts on the same page, my front page of Lemmy. By what perverted definition would that not be spam?
Alright champ.
There’s one way to make sure I never show up again on “your front page of Lemmy”.
Do it again and be done with it.
I’m just quoting some brilliant rhetoric I heard today, don’t mind me.
Oh, how are you my fan? Still pathetically going over every single reply I send to the Fediverse?
Anyone can check your history. Why did you approach me in DM’s and then proceed to be to scared to say anything?
Yes, I’m acting like a child. Yes, ofc.
I’m the one who is being childish. Me. No-one else.
#/s
You’re literally stalking me, can’t get me out of your head, DM me while failing to say literally anything, and then you say “you’re acting like a child.”
Ever heard of a lil’ thing called projection? Cause you have it bad, babby.
I’m sorry, are you trying to highroad me after going over every cent (“inch” for the Americants) of my profile, approaching in my DM’s and replying to me in every thead I post?
And you really don’t see why I’m laughing at your ego…? :DD
Oh yeah, the “now I’m pretending I read it when I really couldn’t be arsed because I have mo answers because I just want to avoid all the cringe shit I did but I still must have the last word, so my ego tells me” - phase.
Seriously, you’re not embarrassed to keep this up despite eveyone knowing you DM me without anything to say expect
So still one word replies without being able to say literally anything.
Why did you DM me?
What a wordsmith. DM me and then even not have the courage to go through with your harassment. You’re pathetic.
Oh I’ll forget you before tomorrow comes, but this interaction will be in your brain for ages.
Like I said, I’ve seen literally hundreds of people pulling the exact same shit you have. Same pathetic non-arguments relying on the childish “lol you should find this insulting because it’s actually what I don’t want to be called”- projection.
That’s why you’ve gone through the trouble of DM’ing me and going thorough my profile and answering me in several comment-threads whereas I couldn’t give a fuck about even opening your profile.
Let’s enjoy these words of wisdom a bit more
No you won’t. This will burn every day. You completely went beserk over spam that wasn’t.
Man, you lost all credibility when you asked if I took my meds.
Cooooooollllll.
What exactly?
I’ve been asking you to say ANYTHING and you simply can’t. You don’t even have insults in you. The only thing you have is preschool level comments like “what a loser response”.
I was literally reading your lever od rhetoric online before you were even born. You are touchy, you get hurt. I don’t.
Remember when I said you’d devolve into spamming one word replies?
Yeah, because I’ve been in this interaction a thousand times. You’ll get trauma. I get boredom by repetition.
I really don’t liked discouraging artists, but you’re really saying that while spamming your “art” that’s on the level of six-year olds…?
Uff. I don’t predict a success here. :<
I wish you could see yourself from the outside.
Plain embarrassing.
Says the person posting embarrassingly shit stick-figure art. You genuinely don’t feel embarrassed by your level of artistry? I never even dreamed of becoming an artist yet drew five times better at nine years old.
You’re literally so embarassed that you hide away in a dark corner of the internet because you know how shit your “art” is.
Me on the other hand, I’m here exactly because it’s dark and filthy and it’s where the Russian scum moves.
Damn you sound hardcore!
You’re so cool, we’re all jealous
Sure buddy. And if you keep going with your art, you’ll probably have the exact same number of fans in twenty years as you do today! ;>>>>
Such humour and insight, I can’t see anything else except wild success for your childish stick-figures.
When you post 4 posts in a row to Lemmy, they’re going to be four posts in a row on Lemmy. On Reddit, you can share to a dozen communities without it being spam. On Lemmy you can’t.
How tf is is it spam??? It’s literally going into four different communities on three different instances. You’ll only see all four if you’re browsing /all, in which case you are taking on the burden of seeing crossposts. If something is relevant in four different communities, it should be posted in four different communities.
You had three posts on the same page, my front page of Lemmy.
It is your responsibility to curate your own feed, not every other user’s
Because on Lemmy there are so few posts it all ends up being put in a row. Which makes it spam.
Or is that hard to understand? The definition of spam is multiple (unwanted, but that’s a non-factor as basically I did want one, as I’m browsing the front page of Lemmy). Is it hard for you to understand why repeating the same thing online, several times, is considered spam? Oh wait, maybe you don’t see that as a question unless I use the same punctuation as you. "Is it hard for you to understand why repeating the same thing online, several times, is considered spam**???**
By your logic you should post a news article to every single fucking news community on Lemmy. That would mean dozens and dozens and dozens of the same exact fucking post on the front page, so that you’d have to scroll thorough several pages to see a single other post than that.
And you don’t see how that wouldn’t be functional?
There’s a reason people dislike spam but I don’t think a newfriend like you is able to understand it.
Hey, curate your own comments and block me instead of replying. But you didn’t. Because you want to be noticed, despite not having a single fucking thing to contribute. Bet you’re like that irl as well. Hop on the bandwagon and yell out shit you don’t even think through.
God I wish I could live back when illiterate morons like you knew to keep their facehole shut. Or when I could cease dueled you for it. Bet you wouldn’t have the balls to still be saying shit. I would.
You left this reply ten times. Maybe cull some of those repeats. Anyway I bet I can respond to this entire reply using only phrases from my last comment
Because on Lemmy there are so few posts it all ends up being put in a row. Which makes it spam.

My account is older than yours lmfao
Damn, guess I need some new phrases
Hey, curate your own comments and block me instead of replying. But you didn’t.
Why would I do that? I mean aside from you literally spamming me with 10 fucking replies to the same comment on the same thread in the same instance, I don’t reckon I’ve ever even noticed you before. If you say some dumb shit I’m going to respond. I only block people who actually disrupt my experience, and you aren’t disrupting my experience. I enjoy these kind of exchanges.*
Wait, was that spam intentional? Did you think that it was somehow analogous to OP posting the same comic in four different communities across three different instances? I really hope not because it isn’t and it would make you look even worse than you already do
God I wish I could live back when illiterate morons like you knew to keep their facehole shut. Or when I could cease dueled you for it. Bet you wouldn’t have the balls to still be saying shit. I would.
Calling me illiterate when you can’t even proofread your own comments. Big fuckin balls on you though, bragging about how you could totally beat me in a duel lmao
*Edited to remove rule-breaking content
You left this reply ten times. Maybe cull some of those repeats
Calling me illiterate when you can’t even proofread your own comments.
Well but you are illiterate, clearly, not even knowing the difference between “can” and “will”.
Big fuckin balls on you though, bragging about how you could totally beat me in a duel lmao
I’m not saying I totally could. You could be twice my size. But I’d fucking like to, because most likely you’re either a fat cunt who can’t lift his own arse to go to the fridge or somehow else very physically unappealing, which probably made you run away into the internet.
But clearly you go with the band wagon.
It’s literally going into four different communities on three different instances.
No, it shouldn’t. It should be posted to one relevant community.
Otherwise we’d have nothing but cross-posts and the Fediverse is already too monotonous.
You’ll only see all four if you’re browsing /all,
Because a person interested in news would never subscribe to several news communities, or a person interested in art wouldn’t subscribe several art communities?
Jesus fucking hell think before you post. And you wonder why I think you’re stupid pheeww
So it was intentional. That’s really embarrassing for you, for the reason that I said in my comment.
When did I mix up can and will?
Because a person interested in news would never subscribe to several news communities, or a person interested in art wouldn’t subscribe several art communities?
Ok, I amend: you also take on the burden of seeing crossposts when you’re subscribed to multiple communities with overlapping topics. I guess if you’re a big fan of OP and subscribr to both of their home communities, and also both of the comic communities this is posted in, you could see all four posts without browsing /all.
When did I mix up can and will?
Oh, so you can’t proofread your comments when saying I can’t proofread mine?
To be clear, I can.
I just can’t be arsed most of the time. I write on mobile and go for speed over accuracy on Lemmy
Ok, I amend: you also take on the burden of seeing crossposts when you’re subscribed to multiple communities with overlapping topics
So we should take care to only be subbed to the best and official community on the Fediverse, and none other?
And you don’t see how that’s rhetorically ridiculous if your aim is to have Lemmy grow and be unlike Reddit?
I write on mobile and go for speed over accuracy on Lemmy
Clearly you don’t go for quality either.
So we should take care to only be subbed to the best and official community on the Fediverse, and none other?
I guess so. You definitely shouldn’t be capable of tolerating seeing the same post twice without crashing entirely out. That would be reasonable. And less entertaining for me personally.
The best method to grow Lemmy is wholly irrelevant to the fact that OP is objectively not spamming. They posted their comic exactly once in each relevant community.
Edit to add: maybe Lemmy would be more capable of growing if we didn’t have the most insufferable user base on any social media platform on the internet
Rhetorical quality and proofreading aren’t in the same category. For you to not understand that suggests a slight lack of understanding about what “rhetoric” actually means.
“Crashing out”? Oh we’re doing strawmen? Okay. So let me adjust… Got it.
Okay, so someone posting 1000000000 times in a second is a reasonable topic of calm criticism.
Long texts don’t mean heated moods. In fact, I’ve noted that usually the ones who are really heated moods have really a very hard time indeeed saying more than a few simple words like this guy:
You can’t say OP isn’t objectively spamming, because he posted something that was on my frontpage of all several times in a row. Not twice. More.
Had he waited even an hour between those, it would’ve not been subjectively spammy to me.
Homework: Learn the meanings and differences between “subjective” and "objective
Friend, this thread has like 100 comments in it and you make up like half of them. You are crashing out. You’ve posted that screenshot like 5 times as many times as OP posted their comic. You made ten copies of the same inane reply to the same comment as if that was in any way analagous to OP posting their comic multiple times in multiple different communities.
Get help
At the time of this edit, this thread has 116 comment, 58 of which are this user. Legendary crashout
“You’re crashing out because I don’t like what you say and you’ve written more than a couple of socially inept kids.”
Yeah pardon me for trusting my therapist with an actual psychology Ph.D (actually a couple, technically, seeing how he had to recertify to several countries) more for what’s" crashing out".
I like to write. So what? As a lot of kids arguing me have noted, they don’t like to read. “didn’t read, lol”. So what the fuck are you doing on a forum complaining someone has too much output?
You made ten copies of the same inane reply to the same comment as if that was in any way analagous to OP posting their comic multiple times in multiple different communities
Ofc it’s analogous. The only way ot wouldn’t be if one was stupid enough to think this was Reddit and that posts you make aren’t overwhelmingly seen by the community as a whole, subscribed or not. I’m pretending to be as dumb as you are pretending to be.
“Get help”.
For what, you being illiterate and dumb? No, I don’t get help. I am the help. I’m making you mad enough to actually put in some fucking effort, unlike the other three-four clowns from today who couldn’t even manage half the level of rhetoric you can. So congrats, today you’re the king of the swingers, the jungle VIP.
And oh how I love how Lemmy pretends being so progressive and lefty up until you have a personal clash and then you can’t wait to imply that anyone who actually has a therapist or is improving themselves should “get help” and other “you’re crazy and thus not to be believed” implications. Not great rhetoric, kiddo.

By your logic you should post a news article to every single fucking news community on LemmySir, this is a Lemmy's.Cross-posting and making seventeen posts is quite different.
And no, no-one cross-posts in a dozen and more communities. And anyone who does it in more than three gets blocked, because that’s spam on Lemmy. It’d be the same as posting the exact same post to Reddit every hour on the hour for 12 hours straight.
Actually cross posting and making 17 posts are literally the exact same thing, if you’re making those 17 posts in different forums
Lmao I didn’t proofread my comment
You’re using the word “forum” a bit wrong. Lemmy is one forum with several communities.
If he posts it once on Lemmy and once somewhere else, we wouldn’t be having this chat.
Instead he posted four (4) times in a row on one (1) forum.
Pretty embarrassing for you to think that arguments online are embarrassing. What are you, 12?
Now we get to argue semantics? Yay! Imagine that instead of “forums,” I had said “communities” or “subforums” or “groups” or any other similar word, and then respond to that instead of getting onto me for using a word differently from you.
I didn’t say that arguments online are embarrassing, I said that your particular attempt to relate what OP did (post the same comic four different times in four different communities) (not spam) to what you did (post the same reply ten different times in response to the same comment) (literally spam) was embarrassing
No, we’re not arguing semantics.
Just like you know what species means and what subspecies mean and that using them doesn’t mean we’re discussing the species problem.
We know that a subspecies and species are two different things and a species is every different from a completely different species than a subspecies, which is not too different from it’s subspecies.
Lemmy is a forum. Communities are the communities on this forum.
When I browse all and have three of the exact same posts at the exact same time, that’s not because of semantics. It’s because of spam.
I didn’t say that arguments online are embarrassing, I said that your particular [argument online]
And you don’t even see you’re doing it. To me anyone with your lever of rhetoric is illiterate. And that is a semantical argument.
Oh yeah sure.
I’ve gotten that reply a million times. Not one of them has blocked me when they said they did.
You just say you do, so you can imagine that you’ve got the last word, when you’re just a quitter.
