This one I made some bold choices on with lighting. Having the plane mostly backlit is striking, but also the composition on the whole leans very much into darker values, with only a few bright spots to compensate.

I also exaggerated the lighting a fair bit by putting some ambient light on the plane so you can see some detail in the darkness. That wouldn't really happen in space.

@ziphi Gosh the lighting is amazing. I love how textured the plane looks, how the light curls around the edges... I don't know how you do that. It's magical. And gorgeous.

@KolaMagpie Thanks. I was worried about this one, being mostly dark values with extremely bright but scarce highlights and almost no midtones. It’s tough to make that work in a composition.
