People using their monitor at 30% brightness: hmm, I don't think I can buy a monitor that doesn't have industry-best brightness 😅
@matt_birchler maybe worth a poll, my 32" OLED on my desk is always at 60% for work and for gaming on PC on an evening. It's bright enough!

@matt_birchler I need the nits

Inject them into my retinae

(My 400nit monitors are always at 100% and I have tried to get them to look brighter before...and they get pretty toasty at that brightness already so)

Looking forward to having a Studio Display XDR so I can finally blind myself with it

@matt_birchler Tbh when I still had Air I kept the brightness at the top minus 2.

@matt_birchler I agonized about the brightness level of my gaming OLED a couple years ago.

“So dim!”

They said.

Once I had it in my—admittedly pretty dark—room it was so bright I had to go way lower than the RTings setting to avoid it actually making my eyes water.

😆

@matt_birchler I’m always at 100% 😎

(Sunglasses to protect my eyes, not to look cool.)
