Reminds me of the aphorism that when a musician tunes their instrument, they’re actually tuning themselves.

Surely the same thought applies to cleaning; we all collect mental cobwebs, and the time we spend bringing TLC to our instruments is a meditation of sorts; opening the windows for spring, and airing the place out a bit.
