In the rose family? Is this botanical family also widespread?
@solarbranka Apples, pears, peaches, almonds, strawberries and, I think, the bramble berries like blackberries and raspberries are all in the rose family, but different species.
The brassicas are not even a family, really: the different edible brassicas like broccoli and cauliflower and cabbage and brussels sprouts are all the same species taking different shapes, like dogs.
