Senator Sheldon Whitehouse's Disclose Act aims to require transparency for contributions over $10,000, revealing the true donors behind political funding.⁠ ⁠ —⁠ ⁠ I support the Disclose act and we should go further. No more corporate contributions at all. Corporations are not people. Years ago, I stopped taking corporate pac money. No elected leader should. It is corrupting our politics. ⁠ ⁠ Further, billionaires and the ultra-wealthy also should not be able to put unlimited money into our politics through pacs and other methods.
