Yesterday we heard that our podcast host - Podbean - will no longer deliver dynamic ads to listeners in the EEA/EU/UK, effective immediately.

This is the kick up the ass we needed to finally migrate our show to a European hosting provider. Does anyone have good experience with a European provider that offers dynamic ad insertion?

Maybe podigee.com?
@europeanspodcast Instead of dynamic will they then insert ads randomly? Maybe I also don't understand what "dynamic ads" are.
@derrockwolf we could still place ads permanently into our own audio, yes, but the nice thing about dynamic ads is that you can insert an ad for, say the first 10,000 downloads and then it disappears. This is a really useful function.
@europeanspodcast @derrockwolf How does it work to keep timestamps stable, does it feature a gap instead of the ad? (Or gaps along with ads, for ads of different sizes)

@njsg

I think the solution for this is podcast chapters. But with dynamic ads chapters would also need to be dynamic.

@europeanspodcast Since when do you have ads? I’ve never heard any 🤔😅
@finestructure rather sporadically, usually ad swaps with other podcasts. But they're dynamic, so you only hear them up until a certain number of downloads and then they disappear from the episode.
