@mikehindleuk It was an interesting point of view. One I haven't come across, actually. And as a fellow business owner, I find your position to be true.

We didn't just wake up one day, and inter-human communication stopped mattering suddenly because of AI. Unless all of us - both business owners and employees get replaced by AI, communication is still going to be one of the most crucial aspects of business, period. So neither marketing specs, nor designers, are going to disappear.

So true! Everything that still works for new client/customer acquisition is exactly the same as it was 10 years ago.

It seems a pretty bleak future if businesses keep relying on AI so much. Hopefully I'm wrong...

@mikehindleuk I believe what's going to happen is something you touch on in the article. I really like using the example of handmade and factory-made pottery.

When factory-made came up, handmade lost a lot of customers. Factory-made was cheaper, faster, and more consistent, and at some point, everyone had the same pot or plate. Over time, however, handmade didn't simply get more expensive, but it got more valuable too.

The same is going to happen with AI. Hope we're there to see it though.
