linear cannoni wonder if anyone will ever fix the "krdc only shows a white screen" bug
if a KDE developer or such reading this wants to try and would like a hint: build krdc without ffmpeg, and instead with another backend like openh264. then connect to a krdpserver. this is not the only way to trigger it, it also fails with ffmpeg in certain scenarios, but building with openh264 will always do it, at least on my systems (havent tried gstreamer)
Will 💜@Skirmisher because using gentoo on the cutting edge frequently results in me getting in situations where the freerdp and the ffmpeg i have do not get along and will not compile successfully, but some rdp servers, like kdrpserver, require all clients to support h264
