Earthy in EV heaven

Australia's LNP government could have promoted EVs instead of leaving loopholes for the import of very large Internal Combustion Engine trucks and cars.

The Albanese government could have taken more steps to encourage EVs, like Norway does.

We could have had a large number of EVs on the road, building national sovereignty and shock resilience.

Even now, a new future is at hand if we take it.

@earthmothering9 south east Asia seems to be adopting evs at rapid rate. For-hire electric bikes and scooters (not the stupid stand up ones) and electric ride share vehicles and taxis have taken over. Bye bye tuk-tuk hello #kokkokmove, #muvmi, #XanhSM.

The amount of people who are suddenly interested in EVs this week, in our country town, has been very interesting.

Lots of people trying to work out how to avoid $2.50 a litre for diesel. Suddenly realising that an EV will get 500km out of a charge. (Hello Sydney).

And instead of filling for the week and hoping, finding out they can charge at home and not have to worry.
