mrandom: eventually, the city quietly cleaned up the derelicts so i never got answers to any of my questions.
mrandom: another day, another cr*p list by a so-called film fan of the top ten best science fiction movies of all time, which leaves out the best science fiction movies of all time, and includes some critical bombs.
mrandom: people need to relearn the meaning of the word "best". i fear it's a lost knowledge.
mrandom: my 2026 new years resolution was to expect the worst, and less than a week into january this year didn't disappoint. february doubled down on this trend and now i shudder to think of what march has in store.
mrandom: youtube is down. just 14 years too late, imo.
mrandom: if youtube strategically went down around 2012 and stayed down for a few months, maybe even a year or two, g*mergate might not have mobilized so strongly. that whole woman hating ecosystem would've been hindered.
mrandom: i wonder why it's down now. is it a ddos attack? will never know.
mrandom: working on a project right now. could be the most important one i ever did.
mrandom: rainy days and fridays always get me down…🎶🎵🎵🎤
mrandom: had been suffering from severe ringing in my ears and some hearing loss till i stopped consuming salt, sugar and caffeine and the symptoms vanished completely. now i know the sweet sound of silence.
mrandom: to all those suffering persistent ringing in their ears, try completely eliminating salt, sugar, and caffeine from your diet. let me know how you feel afterwards.
mrandom: i hate ai advocates. they're more than ignorant and talentless. they are anti talent, anti creativity.
mrandom: ai advicates can't create anything of value and are worthless so they want to destroy those worthwhile who do create valued things.
mrandom: and they don't gaff about the cost to the environment or to all life. some of the worst subhumanoids next to capitalists, whom they bootlick, btw.
mrandom: still haven't gone out in that snow yet. but i will. it's only a matter of time.
mrandom: happy to say i had no idea the sotu happened a few days ago. completely lost track, unaware, blissfully out of the loop.
mrandom: and i'm overjoyed to report i know the peace of not even wanting to find out anything about what i missed.
mrandom: what little information on it that unfortunately trickles in past the filter fails to interest me.
mrandom: gop establishment suppressed the black vote, disenfranchised the black community for this sh*t, the only thing that would interest me now is seeing masses rise up and…do something i can't post on here without being banned.

mrandom: scientists tracking climate change have recently announced that efforts to keep earth below 2°C is now impossible and climate destruction is unavoidable.
mrandom: big corporations have stalled climate action so long we now can no longer save ourselves. we officially have no future.
yesterday, the last day of february the u.s. attacked iran without provocation. a total act of aggression.
mrandom: one horseman of the apocalypse (war) decided to show their face. we have the whole rest of the year to get to plague, famine and the pale horseman death.
mrandom: my allergies are acting up. this year just keeps getting better and better.
mrandom: i can't remember the last time i was sick. i don't miss it but whether i want it or not, fate decided to remind me.
mrandom: omfg, what a miserable 2 days that was. nothing worked. so sick i couldn't go to sleep. i spent all yesterday waging a war with my own body, and i was losing. badly. i thought i would lose for good.
mrandom: worst cold/flu ever. no matter what i did my body refused to cooperate. finally decided to give up and try something outside my usual box. thank god for science.
mrandom: today, i'm stabilized, somewhat. but yesterday, that was a nightmare. i pray it doesn't return. i still have aches and pains.
mrandom: what else could go wrong?
mrandom: i want to be clear to reality or who/whatever controls it, that i don't really meed an answer to that question. if it's all the same to you.
mrandom: the problem is too many are either big d*ck energy or little d*ck energy. not enough people are medium d*ck energy. more people need to find the happy middle.
boy that was weird.
mrandom: starting to get the hang of this thing.
mrandom: disappointing when the news update channel you relied on for so long repeatedly fail/refuse to cover pressing stories.
mrandom: you start to wonder why you're watching, if you're wasting your time. and have you always been wasting your time? have they always been like this?
mrandom: depressing, how much of american life is the scene in jaws where chief brody tries in vain to warn the mayor of the danger in opening the beach.
mrandom: and of course the wrong decision is made and people suffer. and american life has just been that, played over and over.
mrandom: all so futile. and nothing demoralizes like futility.
mrandom: none of this would've happened if everybody had only listened to the voices inside my head.
mrandom: we are not a christian nation. we are a right to decide wtf you want to worship nation.
mrandom: a the state won't tell you what to believe nation. a mind your own fn business and i'll tend to me and mine nation.
mrandom: i don't believe jesus existed, that's my right nation. i worship thor, while you worship jesus…
mrandom: … or whatever the flavor sky god of your choice is allowed nation. that's this nation.
mrandom: we also have the right not to believe in any particular god nation. if this list is too long, then just remember this short cut: in all things spiritual and religious: mind your own fn business. that is the whole of the law.
mrandom: i'm not usually up so early. hope it doesn't become a regular thing.
mrandom: way too soon to be this warm out. starting to wake up sweating.
mrandom: i wish that i knew what i know now when i was younger.
mrandom: so far so good. been a while since i did this, i'm definitely a bit rusty. hope i didn't spoil things.
mrandom: this site's controls are buggy.
mrandom: it randomly deletes the wrong post.
mrandom: i could not foresee this thing happening to you.
mrandom: i appreciate one thing has returned to normal. now if only the larger world could do likewise. that would be great.
mrandom: i saw the signs. i opened up my eyes and saw the signs. and the signs were awful. so i closed my eyes again and hoped real hard the signs would go away. but they never did.
mrandom: i feel i have to go out grocery shopping asp. i need food and tea isn't going to cut it.
mrandom: slowly becoming accustomed to stillness and quiet.
mrandom: i used to go out all the time. but there's just not much to do in an art and culture desert.
mrandom: feels good when you get to the store and the stuff you're looking for is right there on the shelves. been a while since that happened.
mrandom: considering the epic tonnage of great literature in the world from antiquity to modern times and the sheer number of talented, competent filmmakers to adapt them into great media, it feels like there's waaayyyy more bad films out there than there should be.
mrandom: gotta love those self reinforcing delusions. the more you try to break through, the stronger they get.
mrandom: this is the first time i've seen it rain this hard for so long without hearing a ton of sirens blaring.
