@mossyfoot the cape covers my hands/bars so I’m typically less precious about gloves.
When temps are above 35f or so generally something thin/wind resistant like Manzella Windstopper O618M. I get them slightly oversized so I can have wool liner gloves under them on chillier days. They will get a bit wet even though covered most of the time with the cape, but since they’re multiple thin layers they dry out and the wool keeps me warm, even when damp.
@mossyfoot For really cold days I have some Nokia (yes, that Nokia) ice fishing mittens. When it’s that cold, I don’t have to worry about rain, but sweat can be an issue so sometimes I switch to my thinner gloves halfway though my ride.
I also have some tyvek stashaway pogies for extra wind blocking.
@mossyfoot for Xmas I got some “waterproof” Showers Pass gloves. They’re pretty good, but I end up having trouble whenever they’re in the vicinity of hook-n-loop fasteners.
