MyDEL MA-3800

Too good to be true?

7-430MHz by adjusting the thing (so only one band at a time)

@M0YNG Small, efficient, wideband: pick at most two of those three.

With that antenna, you get small, but efficiency will be limited (especially on lower bands), and bandwidth will be increasingly narrow so require frequent adjustment.

Depending on your operating goals, that may be the right compromise...

@m0vfc occasionally putting it on the car for a bit of ft8, so small is a valuable factor.

Obvious alternative is a monoband for 20

@M0YNG at least with FT8, the limited bandwidth won't be much of a constraint!

I found the monoband whips ok on 20m and up, and not much use on 80/40.

If you're parked up, then something like the MA-12 will beat either, but no good while driving!
