It feels like I have no idea what I'm doing, but that's just how it is after a long break. I finally have a proper digital painting setup, though, so I can make more stuff like this!

We have a drawing tablet but it's the non-screen kind, and tiny and cheap (as drawing tablets go). Used to have an ipad, still have the ipad actually, but using it would involve dealing with iOS and that's just annoying. Krita is better.
@IceWolf Oh yeah. Even the basic drawing tablets work just fine really. It's just that I've always drawn with traditional tools so drawing displays are way easier for me. Some of the absolute top artists use regular old drawing tablets, though.
And yeah, Krita is amazing! Easily the best "generalist" 2d painting tool at the moment. I painted this one with Rebelle 7. It's a fun thing to play with, but not super useful if you want to paint textures or 3d matte plates. It's basically a fun toy that simulates good old physical paints.
