@leanderlindahl I've put my Mastodon link in my bio in my other socials: Facebook, YouTube, Quora. I don't think that anyone ever joined me from there. I think I only once gained 2 followers from Reddit, from a post that went viral. So the results have not been amazing. But you can well try. As others said, try to promote an app that matches people's interests.
