well, here's a puzzle
How do you help a tabletop RPG player who is quiet, but not shy? They have a lot of social anxiety, and a difficult time involving themself in any activity, but also really actively want to participate...
The best I can think of is just, to prompt them sometimes on what they'd like to do, have NPCs address them directly... But, I'm not convinced that'll be enough.
@cadeybunny Maybe conspire with the other players to get them to occasionally ask the not shy player what they think everyone should do. But it might be good to have a conversation with them beforehand to make sure that won't make the anxiety worse.
