THE TRUSTWORTHY SHIRTS TOURNAMENT

I was intrigued by the original "who would you trust more?" poll by @the-unflappablewolf, attached for posterity.

I was curious to know whether this result was an indicator that Star Trek imbued the most trustworthiness, so I did a survey. I've turned the responses into a 32-team tournament, with the top responses from the survey randomised into pairs for round 1. In my experience, Star Trek fans think they're good people because they're into Star Trek. Discworld fans take the lessons Discworld taught them and try to do good things with those lessons.

@cass I kind of hope not because I don't live in the US and have never seen either of those shows! Tumblr is very American but Mastodon is a lot more international, so it's actually very hard to predict.

@cassolotl They're both very wholesome kid shows so they're beating out adult scifi and geek stuff. Kinda different from most stuff on here.

@cassolotl The Muppets shirt person probably is more friendly and immediately fun to be around, but if I have a problem, I'm going to the person with the Reading Rainbow shirt. They'll actually be useful to help.

@cassolotl Tough call! Either of'em carries trustiness..

Though I've never _seen_ anybody in a Reading Rainbow shirt. Muppets? Lots. (The thing I've seen most reading-rainbow-relevant have been Drake memes, mostly Geordi, sometimes LeVar as himself, don't do this, do _this_... )
