THE TRUSTWORTHY SHIRTS TOURNAMENT

I was intrigued by the original "who would you trust more?" poll by @the-unflappablewolf, attached for posterity.

I was curious to know whether this result was an indicator that Star Trek imbued the most trustworthiness, so I did a survey. I've turned the responses into a 32-team tournament, with the top responses from the survey randomised into pairs for round 1. @cassolotl The Muppets shirt person probably is more friendly and immediately fun to be around, but if I have a problem, I'm going to the person with the Reading Rainbow shirt. They'll actually be useful to help.

Though I've never _seen_ anybody in a Reading Rainbow shirt. Muppets? Lots. (The thing I've seen most reading-rainbow-relevant have been Drake memes, mostly Geordi, sometimes LeVar as himself, don't do this, do _this_... )

I did see a couple there. The CBS has links to stuff from Joan’s wardrobe, which is beautiful but not really the thing. I ended up getting a non-specific shirt from Redbubble that fit the spirit I was looking for.

If you google, it’s a tsunami of t-shirts for elementary school teachers and stuff like that. Even “Elementary TV show” mostly pings Abbott Elementary. I guess I missed the window.

I'm predicting Mister Rogers vs Reading Rainbow in the final.
Neither of which I have actually seen more then short clips of, but that would make a good finale.
And one that ends in a draw once someone makes a T-shirt of when LeVar Burton came on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.

@cassolotl @ashiel A lot of people are still attached to the books and characters, even if they don't sort JKR. But to wear HP merch, which she gets a cut of, whether it's merch that was bought recently, or even a decade ago, is a red flag.

@beecycling @cassolotl @ashiel Kinda depends if it's a kid. I don't think I've seen any HP merch in the wild for a long time, but our kid sadly got into HP when they were very young (their only reading interest at the time). Getting over it, thank goodness, (into Robert Muchamore, who I am praying doesn't turn out to be a weird nazi, or something), but when I answered that question I imagined a ten year old in a Hufflepuff T-shirt or something, not a twentysomething.
