Wealth overrides race in situations where wealth is a know factor. Otherwise totally famous/wealthy black/POC are still targeted to their shock.

That’s not really a good example. He was fully masked and all the people involved were black (the bank teller who called the cops, the cops that showed up, etc.). He was also sketchy with writing an awkward note to withdraw a large sum of money and that he wanted it done discreetly. It was still a fuck up on Bank of America’s part, but in this instance I give the bank teller some amount of understanding when the entire context is taken into considering. Ryan Coogler even said he was satisfied with how BoA apologized and whatnot.
All that being said, if it was a poor person in this situation… I highly doubt the outcome would’ve been so cordial
