Last night while on FaceTime with @baxaphobia she mentions that there is a podcast out with a 2 hour interview with Sarah J. Maas where she talks about the new books coming out and etc. So we hang up a bit before 9 my time and did I go to bed like a sensible person? No! No I did not! I instead went and found said podcast and read the transcript in its entirety... because I am a huge ACOTAR fangirl. And now we fast forward to right now ... this Monday which is not just a regular Monday but it the first Monday after time change hell and it is a Monday that came way too fucking early because I was up almost until Midnight nerding out.... ugh! I need to finish this coffee and then work out so I can get ready for work but I'ma tell you we're stopping at the fucking Starbucks because I require a quad shot. Oh also another water main ruptured, there was 2 feet of water on Carrollton avenue and now we're under a boil water order... *again* this is the 4th one since 31 January in case anyone is counting.
@pawpower I'm so sorry I was complicit in your staying up too late...maybe not sorry! I'm going to listen to that podcast today. Hope the Starbucks helps and you have a good day!
@baxaphobia Sarah J. Maas is a great writer but not a very good public speaker because the number of times she says like is like, well it's like you know like very hard to read because like if like, she didn't use like all the time in like everything this interview would have like, taken about half as like long to like read... lol
@pawpower Oh that like is the like the way like so many like speak. That and Um. Ugh. Oh well. I'll like still listen later!
@pawpower @baxaphobia I really wish that could be trained out of people. Especially teenagers. I catch myself doing it sometimes. I like totes hate it. It like drives me cray cray.
@Cam @pawpower I know. I find myself doing it occasionally as well. Too much time around college students. Grin.
