To stop such products is to either regulate hard or tackle the incentives.
The first is reactive, the second is tackling patriarchy and capitalism.

Yes, inevitably capitalism or rather "modern day digital feudalism" will have to be dismantled or at the very least much more strictly controlled if we and our offspring are to be freed from our current burdens.
