I learned a lot with Ubuntu desktop many years ago, but at one point, I felt like I was fighting more with it than I was actually using it. Snap made it even worst... For the desktop, I left for Pop!Os for many years, but now that they are not updating the Gnome version anymore, I switched to Debian. I still use Ubuntu-server a lot though...

@Normand_Nadon Oh, I get it. If a desktop gets in your way, then it is doing something wrong.
