Please tell us more about the laser treatment. Is this like a surgical knife that automatically cauterises the incision?

Laser treatment is when vets/rehabbers target soft tissues with certain wavelengths of light. Reportedly this helps reduce pain and inflammation in their patient's injuries, and stimulates healing. I believe that the owl charity would do well to avoid non-evidence-based treatments. Both in terms of the charity's credibility and of the owls' health outcomes.

I for one would not donate to fund these treatments.
