I've spent the last couple of days tinkering with MacOS 9 on an iPad, inspired by http://www.thekyotoconnection.com/system7/

It took a bit of back-and-forth with OpenCode, but now I've got a custom proxy running that gives me access to the essentials of the modern web - and slims the content down to a "read mode for legacy browsers".

Tempted to go looking for a desk lamp iMac ;)
