Don’t forget though, that there are tons of online guides and videos on how to do it. We could open up a chatroom on Signal or perhaps I’ll make a dedicated community right here on Lemmy. If you have a spare phone, you could also send it to me and let me root it for you. Rooting disables OEM updates and makes your device unofficial, so you will probably still be able to sideload apps. What does the community think of such an idea? I’m just spitballing here, trying to add something to the opposition.
