Roof Update: wall now cleared in the main. We did find a lot of sand and rubble behind the lathe. It is likely that this was causing our damp problems - acting as a wick between the stone wall and the lathe and plaster interior. #HouseRestoration #StormAmy #Damp

2/3 The lathe came off quite easily but was very messy coming down. And our arms ache! I get extra points for doing a stint while OH watched the rugby. I am sure that is why Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 won!

@Janet_52square @ColesStreetPothole Goodness, that’s a lot of work (quite a while since I’ve done that myself).

I haven’t been keeping up with things; where do you think the damp is originating? Sure, that slumped damp sand in the interwall isn’t helping.
