People tend to mistake Iran for Iraq.
Iran has a standing modern army, it'll take decades of occupation for a regime change. The US kicked the hornet's nest but didn't bother destroying it. That region will be even more unstable in the following twenty years.

I think you're asking the incorrect question, the idea of "building" is changed when you are attacked directly. Building implies you feel safe enough to re-enforce structure, and they are no longer safe.

Iran's will probably focus on destabilizing other countries in the region, destroying the world economy, and revenge against Israel and the US.

The internet disconnect is not because of damaged infrastructure. It is a deliberate action by Iran government. This is a tactic they use every time there is a possibility of uprising against the government. They have done this in 2009, 2021, 2025, 2026 Jan, and now 2026 Feb-March
