i used this colour scheme when it was one of the default selections in gedit, which was my actual first text editor before i learned vim for work

i have since ported it to everything i've ever used, and it is the default colour scheme of rouge. i don't think it's even in gedit anymore.

you may also recognize it as the colours on my website https://jneen.ca
jneens web site

things jneen remembers to write down

over the years i have added a few colours to it:

* "krasna-light" is a bit of a lighter version of the nice background colour
* "dragon" is a nice deep green that i think goes well on top of krasna
* "rouge" is Edward Loveall's pinkish red from the original Rouge website

I think these round it out a bit, especially for terminal use.

oh i also forgot about "pool", a slightly deeper version of "chilly" from the original set
