Going through some old boxes of stuff, I've found two slim documents written by my dad in his days as an engineering student.

These are some pages from the first one. I think this must have been something he did for his first year practical work. (The reference to army leave was national service, taken before his degree).

The second document is possibly more interesting. It's the report of the work he did during (possibly the summer before) the final year of his degree. It's about the quality control of the concrete used for

One small problem with these... I thought, "These should go in an archive box". So I dug out an archive box, and... the box is built for A4. The documents are both foolscap folio size (8″x13″), and don't fit. Bugger.
