I have now converted the family's PCs to Linux. Linux Mint for all. My kids have been able to run all the games without many difficulties.

We still have a couple of old Windows 10 machines, but they'll be placed in storage soon. There's data on them that we might need later.

@Satiah I've been using it on-and-off since 93. Convincing my wife and kids to use it has been an ongoing, but ultimately futile exercise. It took Microslop's hubris to convince them. Now, they're loving it.

@skribe People coming from #Micro$lop can only compare what they were doing there and can't do on #penguins. It's when they start learning what all they can do on penguins that can't be done on Micro$lop that the fun begins. 😁

@Satiah my youngest took to Linux like a duck to water. He's doing stuff that I don't know how to do. He just RTFM. It's been great to witness.
