So let me get this straight, after launching another war in the middle east with absolutely no plan, to counter a threat that doesn't exist, the US is now strengthening the only country who actually does pose a threat, undermining European security.

Absolutely shambolic, these people are not our allies.

US considers lifting more sanctions on Russian oil as Iran conflict sees global prices surge

Washington says new measures not aimed at easing restrictions on Moscow and only affect supplies already in transit

@jmaris Itโ€™s excruciating. I hope that the US will get out from under the control of billionaire criminals (and the pathologically power hungry) and, in the future, will at least *try* to do some good. In the meantime, Iโ€™d welcome just less evil. US policy not only hurts Europe, the Middle East, everywhere, it hurts the US. And while Trump is the idiot-in-chief, very little of this would be happening without Republican support. We have so much housecleaning to do.
@SER617 @jmaris I figure Iโ€™m preaching to the choir, but all of this is about human greed and failings. I donโ€™t think most people are shits, but we as a species seem to be susceptible to greed, it tends to warp our perceptions putting us in a self destructive state for the whole because we stop caring about others outside our immediate tribal sphere. And notice, the more wealth is involved, the smaller the perceived tribe becomes. ๐Ÿค”
@Huntn00 @SER617 there's a famous Song that goes "they say that the cream will always rise up to the top, well I say, shit floats" I can highly recommend
