The level of anger I feel that we have been set back generations is hard to even quantify. Rage doesn't begin to cover it.

A fucking generational shame. Our reputation ruined, our futures diminished, our personal gain stunted, our safety at risk. So much tarnished, so much needless suffering.

And for WHAT. Not some grand objective, some bold pursuit. Our sacrifice is in the name of nothing but our basest instincts and the worst of us.

I hate this. So much.

@sjkilleen In the name of keeping the orange felon, rapist, con man, likely pedophile, out of jail

@sjkilleen With compassion for those feeling: set back from what, exactly? The US has been getting more authoritarian for decades. Standard of living has dropped since the 70s. Migration policy kept getting worse and worse, across all administrations. Every time capitalism is in crisis, it pulls the country rightward: from statism, through neoliberism, and now into fascism.

We didn't see it, before. We were so comfortable not knowing. But now it's time to face it. It's time to act.
