🙋 Where are you getting your trustworthy, fact-based news these days?

No wrong answers, but as a citizen of the U.S. I’m personally curious about:

• News about the U.S., from an outlet that isn’t owned by a billionaire (U.S.-based or otherwise)

• News about countries other than the U.S.

• Industry- or beat-specific news, whatever that means to you, from indie outlets

Thanks! 💜

@ashur Usually The Intercept, Mother Jones, Talking Points Memo, 404 Media and I’ll scan NPR and the headlines from Kagi News
@ashur Ken Klippenstein, Techdirt (lately), Pro Publica, Texas Observer and The 19th are also good. Unicorn Riot had good coverage of Minneapolis, WTF Just Happened Today is good for overviews too.
@cory @ashur This is a great list! I read most of them too, but there are new ones too!
@cory @ashur +1 to Klipp, Unicorn Riot, and WTFJHT.
