We did it! We moved Black Magic Debug project to @Codeberg! πŸŽ‰

https://codeberg.org/blackmagic-debug

I wish we did not have to move, but GitHub AI slop and a bunch of other badness pushed us over the edge.

Sorry for all the trouble to anyone who now needs to redirect to the new place, but I feel this is a good thing for the project and it's future.

Thank you #codeberg for all the hard work to offer an alternative! Onwards and upwards! πŸš€

And yes, there is still a lot more work cleanup to do after the move. A bunch of links are still pointing to the wrong place. We are missing a bunch of the CI jobs, the website is not regenerating right now. Don't worry we will get it all fixed over time. If you want to help with the cleanup get in touch on discord, help is always welcome. :)
@esden @Codeberg Not sure if related, https://black-magic.org (mentioned on codeberg as homepage) gives a TLS error to me (not a cert problem, but along the lines of tls handshake aborted because server declared an error).

In case it's helpful, curl output: https://paste.sr.ht/~robryk/2253076060f0e7fe3b4ebfb8920be7aa3e375cc3
@robryk @Codeberg Yeah not sure what is up with that. We do use codeberg.page to host it. I had the error appear before, but it disappeared when I reloaded the page. It is something odd going on with the LetsEncrypt certificates? Not sure.
@robryk @Codeberg Ohh I see, it is broken again. It worked yesterday ... O_O

@esden @robryk What's up? ~n

(Can't read the post you're replying to.)

@Codeberg @esden

I wonder if you'll be able to read this (cc @timorl for federation issues).

See https://paste.sr.ht/~robryk/2253076060f0e7fe3b4ebfb8920be7aa3e375cc3
@robryk Huh, weird, your original post from this thread seems to be missing on @Codeberg β€˜s instance (and this breaks the thread there), but this one is there, no idea what happened.   @esden
@timorl @Codeberg @esden This seems to suggest that sending posts to their instance's inbox from us works, but their instance fails to pull from ours for e.g. inReplyTo. (I don't know if pulling of inReplyTo is commonplace, but I would be surprised if it wasn't.)
@timorl @esden @robryk Seems to be fixed now (federation), odd. Thanks! ~n
@Codeberg @timorl @esden Still broken for me (with same response).

In case it's helpful, I'm talking to 2a0a:4580:103f:c0de::2 and my ip is 2a02:169:12a::1f6. I'm happy to do stuff to help debug if I can be of assistance.
@robryk @Codeberg @timorl I am trying to sort it out with the codeberg folks. In the mean time you can see the website here: https://blackmagic-debug.codeberg.page/

@Codeberg @robryk the project website that worked yesterday is throwing some SSL error. Not exactly sure what is up with that. Page: https://black-magic.org/ source: https://codeberg.org/blackmagic-debug/pages/src/branch/pages
@Codeberg @robryk I am also on your Matrix, it might be easier to follow up on than on mastodon. :)
@esden Nice to have you with us either way, welcome! ~n
@Codeberg Thank you for having us! :) Don't get us wrong, we are happy to be on Codeberg. :)
