@HailsandAles I just assumed Nirvana or Soundgarden would be the choice if it were a “grunge” band. Personally I can’t listen to Ten anymore, this rarely happens with me.
I need to revisit Human.
Ｊｉｍ Ｈａｋｕ ☸@fistfulofdave @HailsandAles At the time Ten was legit exciting, so was the Black Album tbh that's what I was actually listening to then. Crazy to think about...wasn't until 92 I first heard extreme metal or any underground stuff.

@fistfulofdave @HailsandAles Oh, I was like 13 in '91. I go back to all the 80s stuff, it's kinda harder to talk to younger ppl that started with like Behemoth or Nile who think Slayer are boring.
@jimhaku @HailsandAles I’m abt 10 years older than you. So my metal starts with Sabbath/ Priest/Raibow right into the NWOBHM, then thrash and on and on.
