@transworld It all comes down to weird religious hair-splitting. And it's not a good thing, because a lot of gays pretend to be trans in order to avoid execution for homosexuality. So Iran is basically inflicting gender dysphoria on cis people, which is just as horrific as the transphobes inflicting gender dysphoria on trans people.
