Found the beginning (or the end) of the Via Alpina Route 1 in Switzerland, in Montreux at Lake Geneva. This route is partly part of the bigger Via Alpina, which crosses the entire Alps. The blue marked trail on the map is not part of the bigger trail.
One can really relax on the boulevard in Montreux, not overcrowded today. Back by Golden Pass Express. 👌
At Zweisimmen we go from the narrow 1000 mm to the normal 1435 mm track width without leaving the train.

A few years ago I got a present: A first class trip on the Golden Pass Express! Yay!
Unfortunately it was miserable.
Fog everywhere.
Everything I saw was hidden behind a white wall of fog.
(One day I'll do the trip again, with better weather.)
