Bill Evans, At The Montreux Jazz Festival, 1968 on Verve

Second 1968 Bill Evans performance I’ve posted this week, this one has the trio (again with Eddie Gomez and Jack DeJohnette) at Casino de Montreux in Switzerland, and was recorded by the technical department of Radio Suisse Romande.

My copy (via a private sale) is the 2020 Analogue Productions reissue on two 45rpm 200g records, cut by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab. Sounds fantastic, though I can’t say I like having to change the platter twice as often.

Depuis que j'habite Clarens, je suis adepte du nouveau #R7 quand je rentre de Berne avec l'InterRegio #IR15. Si seulement il pouvait être prolongé pour Clarens, #Montreux et Villeneuve. Il aurait une vraie valeur ajoutée pour les voyageurs de Suisse alémanique vers la Riviera souhaitant éviter la gare surchargée de #Lausanne.

On pourrait l'appeler #RivieraConnect.

I need information (not money) to help out a friend in Switzerland. [Edited to add: they are a Swiss citizen.]

I have a friend in Montreux (Vaud) in serious crisis. They are considering voluntary self admission to a psychiatric facility. But there are obstacles:

- They have had terrible experiences in facilities in the past.
- They are on disability payments and are terrified of getting stuck with a bill they can't pay that ruins their life.

Can anyone in Montreux area recommend an appropriate facility that is guaranteed to be free and decent quality?

Or can you recommend where to go to get information and support for someone in Vaud who is in crisis?

This is high stakes situation, I live in a different country I don't need "let me google that for you" or random speculation, I need *reliable* information from people who know what they're talking about.

If anyone can help, I would be deeply grateful.
