For German, I guess Pennsylvania Dutch would come closest? At least in the sense that it’s a variety of German spoken in North America. It’s barely understandable for modern-day Germans.

Even within Swiss German itself, the people in the Canton of Vallais speak such a strong dialect (actually a group of dialects) that most of the rest of Swiss German people don’t understand them.
