Signed myself up to do a 100k permanent ride tomorrow. We're having strange weather at the moment, with the warmest part of the day actually being tomorrow morning. So I'll try to get an early start. I'll take the fixie to make things more, uh, interesting.

After soaking in the bathtub for an hour, I'm slowly returning back to life. Finishing time was 4:59h. Not too bad for this time of year. The way back had brutal bits: Headwind + fixed gear bike are not a good combo generally. The rest of the weather wasn't great either. It kept getting colder (expected) but also drizzled for extended periods of time (unexpected). So I was quite chilled at the end.
