I have to rely on mobile gaming these days and therefore decided to start into 2014 Divinity: Original Sin on my Tuxedo laptop again. I already played the game during its initial release but stopped after maybe ~40%. 🧙

While I rely on the digital version of the game, of course I had to go for the retail box to add it to my physical collection. The box is unopened, came for a decent price and coincidentally with a sealed copy of Desperados III. 📦

@repeatro great game

@dylenar

Agree. Have you played it or the successor?

@repeatro both successor and predecessors. Even the dragon simulator rpg is fun :)

@dylenar

I played Original Sin II much more. Nearly finished it but canceled in the last chapter. This was before they redesigned the final chapter after the critics about it being worse than all the other chapters.

@repeatro my favorite tho it's the original devine divinity the "diablo clone". Ain't the best game in the series but the closest to me.

@dylenar

I also played and enjoyed, but never finished that one.
But I actually fully played through Divinity II: Ego Draconis.
I got into both these games because they reminded me of the Gothic series, offering a non-handholding gaming experience where you have to find out things by yourself.

@repeatro had a really good time playing this in coop with my brother. Story was kinda weak but the combat is great.

@polygonien

Yeah, the turn based combat is so addicting. There are so many different outcomes depending on your decisions and party's abilities.
