If BBC’s reporting is correct, what we are seeing in Iran right now is the same playbook Israel used in Gaza. They aren’t sticking to military targets. They are targeting society, and the country’s culture and heritage. To what extent US targeting is following their lead is unclear, but hospitals, schools, historic landmarks, and civil infrastructure are being destroyed with the clear intent of collective punishment. It is abhorrent, heinous, and criminal.

@mcnado their reporting is correct. The goal is to balkanize Iran and turn it into a failed state in a state of perpetual civil war so that Israel can have unfettered regional dominance. This is Israel’s wet dream come true. Deplorable.

@sayonaraminasan I don’t think that will play out that way for Israel. It will just mean they won’t know who to negotiate with when the non-stop terror attacks start.

@mcnado indeed. They think they can pull a Gaza 2, but the Iranians won’t have it. This war is going to bleed the U.S and won’t have the desired effects for either of the warmongers I reckon.
