@ricardoharvin This is where I land on that: That's not a hill I can die on, and one I find iffy for my own profession. I make erotica for a living. I have never seen any platform that didn't allow Nazis (they just police the language. And I'm honestly not worried about outright Nazis nearly so much as I'm worried about people like Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson who push people to the alt-right through palatable, major-platform-friendly language. @ricardoharvin ... and boycott all major social medial I can hold out to say no billionaire owners, I can hold out to say no platforms that sell data. But if I say "I need stringent moderation AND for you to allow sex work," I will not have a platform. I don't believe there is a newsletter service that will not deliver newsletters from people on the far right. And "There are Nazis there," is true everywhere. However, if people on Mastadon want to use my tip button enough, I'll leave.
