@kkarhan I'm boutta cop this
@fluttersh I mean, if you like woking food then maybe that is cool for you...
@kkarhan how big is each wok you reckon?

@fluttersh the box that contains the stuff is ~ 80x40x20cm so at most they're like 20cm across or something...

  • Granted at a price of €24,99 with the heat plate I'd not have high hopes.
  • Still if you want to make half a dozen small gourmet dishes, I could see this being useful.
    • Tho I'm shure they don't rate is as "commercial graee" and since it has a regular wall socket, it can only draw 3,6 kW max, so not really fast…
@kkarhan oooover ty

@fluttersh you gonna get it?
Let me know if it's that cool.

  • Maybe you start your own "The Shed" with it?
    • Like unsarcastically cool Restaurant...

@kkarhan might have to look at a few of em wonder if electric wok heaters r bussin
@fluttersh IDK if they're roubd at the bottom or flat or whatever. I merely saw the package…
@kkarhan kinda nutty if u can get the woks really hot with electricity

@fluttersh pretty shure those don't go beyond like 125°C or something like that.

But I can see how folks wanting to make half a dozen different little dishes at the same time like the idea.

  • Tho I'l shure in any restaurant setting one would rather get a 6-burner gas stove and 6 normal-to-small sized woks instead.
    • Or if the budget allows it, induction, because those ain't a fire hazard and are easy to clean.
