Apparently the Finnish academic journals hosted at journal.fi are using an invalid security certificate, as I am not getting any RSS feed updates from there.

This affects all journals I have an RSS subscription to, so it is likely a platform-wide issue.

Anybody else have similar issue?

For me it looks like the wildcard certificate for journal.fi from Sectigo is valid (2026-02-26 – 2027-02-28).
Something else?

@puhuri For me Terra, Fennia, Alue ja Ympäristö, and Yhdyskuntasuunnittelu are returning invalid security certificates, and thus Thunderbird is not fetching anything from these journals.

Looks like it is not sending intermediate certificate for Terra, so yes, there is a configuration issue at the server (missin cert chain file?).

@waeiski I saw on Finna forums that some library was having issues with journal.fi cover images not loading on their website. I wonder if this could be related.
