@joebeone oh man, went and read the job description and I couldnt hold a candle to it. heh
@Viss please consider throwing your hat in!
@Viss I mean, if you feel it, that is. It's a doozy
@joebeone i have zero college degrees, and i absolutely do not have ten years of dealing with policy and politics :D
@joebeone i mean, that being said, if you still think i stand a chance, its worth a shot!
@Viss you'll have to decide that for yourself
@joebeone specifically, i mean there are requirements in the job description that I very much do not have (a masters degree, ten years on politics) and i just want your feel on if not having those are a dealbreaker

@joebeone @Viss

Sounds like an amazing opportunity. In another life, perhaps. But damn, what a way to make a difference.

Not sure about other jurisdictions, but you might get some pushback from California and other states that require a salary range with job listings.

@joebeone those who possess the required degrees and decades of experience to qualify for this job will have had all those years to conform to capitalist boxes and startup mindset and enabling all the bs that made the internet the ad ragebait troll infested place it is on corp platforms. Someone who's been trained by conformist ways of education is someone who cannot possibly be a force for good cause they've internalized all the wrong ideas... internet culture is shaped by average people not corp trained academics or ceo types.
