Quasit@superuserdo @r1w1s1 desktop, absolutely. I hate laptops, always have. They are flimsy and don't last. My desktops have all been upgradable, and last for 7 years or longer. Often much longer.

@Quasit @superuserdo @r1w1s1 Though I'm honest enough to admit that my computing needs may have peaked and plateaued twenty years ago, so even that desktop was overkill
