@vicki agreed. I love the process of building things for myself, and now, with the help of AI, I can build things I only dreamed of before. That, too, just by dictating to the AI what to do. For example my own SSG for my journaling website.

@vicki My recent job change, which has given me the gift of occasional free time, gave me the head+time space to get back into building things for myself and creating for the sake of creating, and it is **glorious**
@vicki building stuff for myself is where I'm at and have been since I retired 16 years ago. I made good money but began to see the deadly uses my employers usually had for my work. Thought I would never write another line of code. There are lots of good projects, e.g. for environmental causes, that put the fun back in the work.
