The Ark first aired 60 years ago OTD in 1966. It's a well crafted 1st Doctor story, set across two different eras, and is also Dodo's first full adventure. The jungle set, direction and complex themes of human–Monoid integration more than make up for any shortcomings. #DoctorWho

@paulbowler I remember the first half of that story was good but the second half was rather disappointing.

@rand__althor Yeah, its started very strong and the time jump in the middle was a surprise. But is it drag things out a bit afterwards.
